After a work permit is issued, special inspections and other inspections required by the Construction Codes during the progress of work must be made at the times, stages, and in the manner the Codes or the Commissioner require, and the permit application must set forth an inspection program for the job. Such inspections may be made by approved agencies or by the Department, and special inspections may be performed only by individuals who are special inspectors; inspection reports must be in writing, signed, and records kept for six years after sign-off.
