RegWatch sells two paid product categories with the refund rules below. It also operates a professional directory and a promotional-reward program, covered in section 5. Read the section that applies to you.
A one-time property report (Full Analysis, $15) is a point-in-time snapshot of a property’s public records, delivered as a PDF plus that property’s unlocked tabs. It does not include ongoing monitoring or email alerts; those are subscription features (see section 2). Once a report is generated and delivered (available instantly in your account), it is non-refundable: the snapshot data is the value you purchased, and we cannot “return” it once delivered. (Legacy Basic and Comprehensive reports follow the same non-refundable terms.)
Exceptions we will refund: (a) the report failed to generate due to a RegWatch error and we cannot deliver it within 24 hours, (b) you were double-charged for the same report, (c) the report contains a structural defect that prevents you from opening or reading it. Contact [email protected] within 30 days of purchase.
Disagreements about data accuracy are not a refund basis. RegWatch aggregates public records from city/county/state agencies; if a source contains an error, the error appears in the report. Our Terms of Service §4 governs accuracy disclaimers.
Pro, Max, and Unlimited subscriptions auto-renew monthly or annually until you cancel. You can cancel anytime in your account at Account → Billing. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you keep access until then.
Pre-purchased credit packs (25 / 100 / 300 report credits, each with an equal number of email-monitor slots) are non-refundable once activated. Unused credits do not expire but cannot be converted back to cash. If you cancel a subscription, credit packs you bought separately remain available on your account; the pack's email-monitor slots function only while a Pro or Max subscription is active and re-engage if you resubscribe.
The free tier — property search, data tabs, saved properties, and in-app compliance alerts — is free of charge. There is nothing to refund.
RegWatch operates a professional directory where licensed professionals may create a listing on a flat-listing basis so users can request an introduction. RegWatch is an introducer only and is not a party to any engagement between a user and a listed professional; fees, scope, and refunds for any such engagement are strictly between those parties and are not handled by RegWatch.
When a user engages a listed professional through the platform, RegWatch may grant a promotional reward, a non-renewing credit for a first month of RegWatch Pro. This reward is promotional, non-cash, and non-transferable; it has no cash value, is not refundable or redeemable for money, and does not auto-renew into a paid subscription.
If you dispute a charge with your card issuer instead of contacting us, your account access may be suspended pending the dispute outcome. Most chargebacks can be avoided by emailing [email protected] first — we resolve refund requests within 3 business days when the case fits the rules above.
Email [email protected] with: (a) the email address on the order, (b) the Stripe receipt or order date, (c) which product you’re requesting a refund for, (d) the reason. We respond within 3 business days. Approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days (Stripe’s standard window).
This refund policy is posted in compliance with NY GBL §396-r (posted refund policy for retail goods/services). Nothing in this policy waives any rights you have under your state’s consumer-protection laws — if your state law gives you a stronger refund right, that right applies.
