FAQ
Do I have to hire your contractor?
No. The intro is a recommendation — you can ignore it, get other quotes, or fix it yourself. Using our network is always optional.
How do you check the contractors you introduce?
Before we introduce you to a contractor, we confirm they hold an active state license. We deliberately surface small / independent / local pros that big platforms ignore. You're always free to get other quotes or use your own contractor.
Who handles payment?
You and the contractor. RegWatch is the introducer, not the service provider — we don't handle escrow, payment, or service guarantees. Each contractor carries their own GL/E&O policy.
What if the violation can't be cured by a quick fix?
Some violations require permits, engineering reports, or specialized work. We flag that in the summary and refer you to the right specialist (architect, engineer, abatement firm).
Does RegWatch charge me for the intro?
No. We don't charge property owners. The contractor sets their own pricing and bills you directly.
