15 RCNY § 20-04
DEP Cross-Connection Control program (15 RCNY § 20-04) requires properties flagged as a cross-connection hazard (commercial and multifamily buildings with boilers, cooling towers, sprinkler connections, or irrigation) to install an approved backflow prevention device and file an annual test report performed by a NYS-DOH-certified tester employed by a Licensed Master Plumber. Defects must be repaired within 30 days.
