N.J.A.C. 7:27F

This DEP rule establishes the criteria governing and reducing carbon dioxide emissions from the combustion of fossil fuels, as part of New Jersey's comprehensive strategy to reduce statewide greenhouse gas emissions 80 percent below 2006 levels by 2050 under the Global Warming Response Act (N.J.S.A. 26:2C-37 et seq.). It applies to owners and operators of existing and new fossil-fuel-fired electric generating units (EGUs) with a nameplate capacity of 25 MWe or greater, and new fossil-fuel-fired EGUs under 25 MWe that are located at an EGU facility.
