N.J.A.C. 7:27-19.7
Part of New Jersey's NOx Reasonably Available Control Technology (RACT) rules, N.J.A.C. 7:27-19.7 sets maximum allowable nitrogen-oxide emission rates for industrial, commercial, and institutional boilers and other indirect heat exchangers. Owners/operators of units rated at 50 million BTU/hr or more located at a major NOx facility must meet the limits in Table 8, and units rated at 25 million BTU/hr or more (not at a petroleum refinery) must meet the limits in Table 9; units rated at 5 million BTU/hr or more must perform annual combustion-process adjustments (per the procedure at N.J.A.C. 7:27-19.16), and units rated at 250 million BTU/hr or more must install a continuous emissions monitoring system.
