A Connecticut Real Estate Commission conduct regulation (adopted under CGS § 20-328 and administered by the Department of Consumer Protection) that prohibits a real estate licensee from misrepresenting or concealing material facts in a transaction and from misrepresenting the actual selling price of real estate to any lender or other interested party (verbally or via a false sales contract), and that requires brokers to exercise diligence in presenting accurate advertising and to disclose the broker's name in all advertising.
