Conn. Gen. Stat. § 20-325d
Requires a real estate licensee who represents a seller, lessor, prospective purchaser or lessee to disclose in writing, upon request, the identity of the licensee's client to any party to the transaction who is not represented by another licensee. Not later than the first personal meeting, the licensee must disclose in writing the types of agency relationships available and that the prospective party should not share confidential information until a written representation agreement is signed; for residential transactions, the licensee must also provide fair housing discrimination information, including a description of federal and state fair housing laws, protected classes, where to obtain additional information, and available resources. These disclosures may be delivered electronically. The Commissioner of Consumer Protection adopts regulations to carry out the section.
