Conn. Gen. Stat. § 20-320
Authorizes the Department of Consumer Protection to investigate persons engaged in the real estate business or offering real estate courses, and permits the Real Estate Commission or the Department to temporarily suspend or permanently revoke a license or registration and, in addition to or in lieu thereof, impose a fine of not more than $5,000 per violation, after proceedings under Conn. Gen. Stat. § 20-321, upon finding enumerated misconduct including material misrepresentation, false promises likely to influence or induce, acting as agent for more than one party without all parties' knowledge (undisclosed dual agency), and other prohibited acts listed in subdivisions (4) through (13).
