Penalty for Building Code Violation
Conn. Gen. Stat. § 29-254a
Any person who violates any provision of the State Building Code shall be fined not less than two hundred dollars or more than one thousand dollars, or imprisoned not more than six months, or both. This is the statewide enforcement penalty backing compliance with the Connecticut State Building Code.
