Issued by CT DEEP under Conn. Gen. Stat. § 22a-430b (and the federal NPDES program), this general permit requires any construction project disturbing one or more total acres of land to register with DEEP and implement a site-specific Stormwater Pollution Control Plan (SPCP) using Best Management Practices to keep sediment and other pollutants from washing off the site into waters of the State, addressing both during-construction and post-construction stormwater.
