R.C.S.A. § 22a-133k-3
Part of Connecticut's Remediation Standard Regulations (RSRs), this DEEP section establishes the numeric cleanup criteria that contaminated groundwater must meet at a remediated site, organized around three criteria sets: Groundwater Protection Criteria, Surface Water Protection Criteria, and Volatilization Criteria. It governs the groundwater concentrations a property owner or developer must achieve to remediate a polluted site, with the numeric values set out in associated regulatory appendices. Originally effective January 30, 1996; amended June 27, 2013, February 16, 2021, and most recently March 1, 2026 (in connection with the Release-Based Cleanup Regulations).
