N.Y.C. Admin. Code § 21-141.1
N.Y.C. Administrative Code § 21-141.1 requires the Department of Social Services (which includes HRA) to provide written notice of the lawful-source-of-income discrimination protections of N.Y.C. Admin. Code § 8-107 to CityFHEPS applicants at the time they receive a shopping letter. The notice is developed by the NYC Commission on Human Rights in consultation with the department. The section was added by Local Law of 2020 (Int. 1339-A), signed November 17, 2020, and took effect 180 days later.
