47 RCNY Chapter 2 (Unlawful Discriminatory Practices)
Title 47, Chapter 2 of the Rules of the City of New York contains the NYC Commission on Human Rights' rules implementing and interpreting the NYC Human Rights Law's (Administrative Code Title 8, §8-107) prohibitions on unlawful discriminatory practices, with sections including definitions (2-01), public-accommodation sex discrimination (2-03), criminal-history discrimination under the Fair Chance Act (2-04), credit (2-05), gender (2-06), and pregnancy/lactation (2-09). The criminal-history rules at 47 RCNY 2-04 apply only to employment and licensing — they do not regulate housing providers; covered entities are bound by these rules when applying the substantive protections of Title 8.
