Tenant Screening Penalty Schedule
6 RCNY § 6-57
This DCWP rule sets the OATH penalty schedule for violations of the Tenant Screening Report Disclosure law (NYC Admin. Code Subchapter 16, §§ 20-807 to 20-811), under which civil penalties attach specifically to the disclosure requirement (§ 20-808) and the sign-posting requirement (§ 20-809). The graduated penalties are $250-$500 for a first violation and $500-$700 for each subsequent violation.
