AG Conversion Plan Regulations (Part 18)
13 NYCRR Part 18
New York Attorney General (Real Estate Finance Bureau) regulations governing offering plans for the conversion of occupied residential property to cooperative ownership, filed with the Department of Law. The rules prescribe the required procedure for submission, format and content (§18.3), transmittal letter and certifications (§18.4), amendments, advertising, and senior-citizen/disabled-tenant protections, supplementing General Business Law Article 23-A; hybrid "condo-coop" conversions are also primarily subject to Part 18, while condominium conversions of occupied property are governed separately by Part 23.
