Conn. Gen. Stat. § 12-62
Requires each Connecticut municipality to implement a revaluation of all real property no later than the first day of October that follows, by five years, the October 1 effective date of the preceding revaluation. At least once every ten assessment years (i.e., not less than once per two five-year revaluation cycles) the assessor must fully physically inspect each parcel. An assessor may designate a revaluation company certified under section 12-2b to perform parcel data collection, analysis, mass-appraisal valuation, or field review, but the assessor remains responsible for the revaluation.
