Conn. Gen. Stat. § 47a-54f
Conn. Gen. Stat. § 47a-54f ("Paint"), in Title 47a, Chapter 833a, requires that in each tenement, lodging or boarding house the walls of any court, shaft, hall or room be whitewashed or painted a light color whenever the board of health or enforcing agency deems it needed for better lighting. Paint on the exposed interior surfaces of a tenement house must not be cracked, chipped, blistered, flaking, loose or peeling so as to constitute a health hazard. Testing, remediation, abatement and management of lead-based paint at a tenement house or its premises is governed by the regulations, if any, adopted pursuant to § 19a-111c.
